One of the many great things about merino wool is that it does not smell, even after living in it for a week on a trek. The wool has anti-bacterial properties so it effectively kills the bacteria in your sweat. It's incredibly warm, very lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear as it doesn’t itch like regular wool.

Brought a number of years ago for Ten Tors and DofE. Has lasted through these keeping me warm under cold and wet conditions as well as dry from its wicking properties. The merino wool, removes any smells that I've suffered from with other wicking T shirts.

I bought 2 of Icebreaker 200's (1 grey, 1 black) before a recent 4 week cycle tour trip to the Pacific North West and did not my regret my splurge, I did not realise I was making an investment and NOT a purchase! This is one of the most versatile tops I have ever owned and it kept me warm, kept me cool and combined with one additional top layer be it for fashion or function it was the perfect travelling partner...the power of merino wool is truly awesome, those NZ sheep are definitely worth their salt - 100% recommended!
