These are the most comfortable waterproof and breathable walking pants I have ever had. No need for extra layers underneath, they seem to create a 'micro climate' inside to keep your legs warm, and being stretchable is a bonus when exerting yourself on the hills.

Bought prior to a week in the lakes with temperatures averaging -5 and winds of 45 gusting 50 knots all I needed was a base layer and these trousers! They are warm and breathable as well as waterproof and were perfect despite some really unpleasant weather. For the price a great purchase and I intend to buy another pair.

Wore these for the first time yesterday on a very windy and horribly rainy evening while walking the dog and they did the job beautifully. Didn't overheat in them, they didn't rustle like other waterproof trousers do and they kept the wind and rain out just as promised. The rain just beaded on the surface and rolled right off, which I almost didn't believe it would given the fabric is so soft. I'm a size 12 normally but went for the 14 for a slightly more relaxed fit (in case I wanted to wear thermals underneath) and for my 5 foot 9 height the regular length is a little shorter than I'd normally like to wear (going for the size 14 meant they sat a little lower than the size 12 did) but as I wear them tucked into muckboots when the weather is really disgusting this isn't too much of a problem.
Haven't washed them yet, but the care instructions make them sound like they should be easy to keep clean and keep their waterproofing.
So far, very impressed!

Finally, a waterproof trousers that really is breathable, waterproof and flexible. These really live up to their promise. The legs are wide enough to fit comfortably over hiking boots. The material is soft and flexible and unlike any other waterproof trousers I have had in the past. I have had them for just over a month but already they have become an essential part of walking,climbing and golfing gear. But most importantly, they really are waterproof!
