More than a general mountaineering boot!! Reviewed By Brian, 05 Apr 2012

I have had these boots for two winter seasons now and they have been fantastic. They have done everything from easy munro's to grade 5 ice, Scottish mixed and Norewegian water ice. They are supportive and comfortable even after a big day and have kept my feet warm in some very cold conditions.

They took a few weekends of slightly blistered heels to break them in, although I think this was more to do with my lacing!! But since then I have loved them.

After two winters of hard use (6-8 days per month) they still look brand new and have very little signs of wear with the sole having plenty of tread and nice sharp edges.

They fit a variety of different crampons, I've been using Petzl Vasaks and Grivel G14s. Both fit very well with either binding options.

These are fantastic boots that I would highly recommend to anyone, not advertised as dedicated climbing boots but more than capable of anything you can throw at them. (Unless you're name is Dave Macleod!)
