i had my heart set on the Talon 22, but when i tried this on it made it a really tough chioce. both packs are really well made and packed with features however the Deuter seemed a lot tougher. it does weigh more, but for a day sack weight is much less of an issue. I tried it out that same day on a 15 mile yomp around the Herts country side, and i'm so impressed with the back venting system. i suffer from overheating easily and although i still had a sweaty back it was a significant improvement on anything i'd experienced before. excellent pack, very pleased with my choice.
