Exceptional storage space and spacious sleeping areas make this a good choice for cyclists, climbers or trekkers who want an easy to pitch, stable base for their adventures. If you have lots of kit, or just want room to spread out, an extended porch gives extra living space. An internal tension band system can be used in very windy conditions.

It's a VERY good tent
Reviewed By Craig, 07 Sep 2012

I've owned one of the originals for 10 years now and it's never let me down - very well looked after. It's NOT a mountain tent but has withstood winds in excess of force 10 on more than one occasion and the TBS system DOES work. It's also fantastic value even without end of season discounts. Pitched properly it'll keep you dry in almost the worst of weather.

Good general camping tent.
Reviewed By Alex, 07 Apr 2012

Vango have tried to pitch this as a mountain tent due to the TBS system, but it absolutely isn't. It's a great tent for car camping with a huge porch area and good space inside that will fit a double airbed comfortably. The TBS system is poor and shakes itself loose during high winds. It may be worth customising the TBS system with stitching or glue to fix the length of the straps and avoid the above problem. If you limit its use to campsites, it'll serve you well.
