I use this camping to boil water for coffee, tea and washing up as the edge makes it much easier to pour boiling water from than saucepans. However, would be perfect to take hiking/backpacking if you wanted a compact, light pot. Also fits a couple of small cups inside, if space is a priority.

Wow! Excellent piece of kit, Strong, Lightweight and does exactly what it say on the tin. Used with the Primus Omnifuel I've cut down the boiling time by 40 second and it keeps boiling even after removing from the stove due to the heat distribution of the bottom ring.
The only pot you will need if out backpacking easy to clean, the frying pan lid fits 2 eggs perfectly but you will need to fold bacon in half as it is a little small.

Very light and essential piece of kit for anyone's backpack.

This bit of kit is simply a god send when out and about. If you can get water into it, it'll boil in no time at all, even when full.
Hard wearing surface treatment and easy to clean.
Used by myself on many a day out and my son on exercise with the army, and will supply a cup of tea and a hot meal nearly as quick as I've typed this!
