Great Jacket Reviewed By Howard, 27 Feb 2012

This is a fantastic down jacket that is suitable for alpine climbing or very cold British days on the mountain. It's not overly bulky like some of the competitors jackets and doesn't leave you looking like a "Michelin Man". It's equally useful as a pub coat as it's styled so well! It's had plenty of use on the street during this winter's cold snap and temperatures of -15 degrees C overnight in Feb. An absolute bargain at this reduced price too!

My best bit of kit! Reviewed By Robert Alan, 04 Nov 2011

My best bit of kit…. My Rab Summit is the item I always put as my favourite on the outdoor forums that I am on, so I couldn’t say any better than that!
I’ve had this jacket 3 years now, and although I have used it for winter wild-camping and Bothying (and it is excellent for both) I mainly use it general walking (It looks equally good on the High Street) and going to the pub in cold weather (also a great warm cushion when sitting on the cold slate “seats” in the Clachaig Inn, Glencoe ?)
I like the two tone design and colours (I have the red & black) the slightly snug fit (you don’t look like a Michelin man!) the 2 hand pockets surrounded by down, the 2 large lower inside pockets (ideal for maps), the water resistant shell and the really good detachable wrap around your chin hood with wired peak. My only very slight gripe is the upper inner pocket is on the small size.
All in all a great jacket that will keep you warm in the hardest of British winters.

Great Crag Jacket Reviewed By Amy, 25 Apr 2011

I have the womans verion and was worried that the 660+ down fill would be to warm, but I was proved wrong! This is a great jacket for cold night camping, whilst climbing in the winter or even our 'great' brittish summer days, perfect for use while belaying at the crag with its 2 way YKK zips. I couldnt be happier with this jacket!
