I have had these trousers for about 4 weeks now and I hove worn them up various mountains in Scotland. Weather conditions have been wet and windy conditions together with hot and sunny; these trousers are perfect for both. The vents on the legs are excellent for cooling during hotter weather and the teflon coating repels water during showers.

I wore them during a trip up the Cuillins where I spent most of the time coming down the scree chute on my bottom sliding. When I got back to the B&B I was dreading looking at my trousers to see what damage had been done; I am very pleased to report that there is only one tiny little catch on the seat of the trousers! Considering how much time I spent falling and sliding I am amazed at how well the reinforced material performed.

I also wore them when walking the 68 mile long Cateran Trail over 3 days; they were extremely comfortable and I experinced no rubbing or chaffing.

I would recommend these trousers to anyone looking for a comfortable, durable and functional walk pant.
