It self-inflated pretty well, gave it a couple of puffs to get it to full capacity, but easily done. Good price, colour, size (though if you are very tall and like to sleep full length, maybe not long enough- I am 5'7" and felt it was perfect for me). Very comfortable for 6 nights sleep in a row, didn't need any topping up, and a great price.
It's a little hard to roll up as it self-inflates the second you stop applying pressure- but I guess that's what you have chosen it for the self-inflation purposes!
