Multifunctional headwear

Accessorise your adventures with the Wool Buff. Just like the Original Buff, but made from pure Merino wool, a naturally soft, elastic fibre that provides exceptional thermal regulation.

This stretchy tube of fabric is so versatile you’ll want to take it with you wherever you go. It can be worn in a variety of ways; as a scarf, as a headband, as a beanie, to name just three. The cylindrical construction has no irritating seams, making the Buff comfortable to wear however you choose to use it.

In the cold, it will trap heat to keep you warm. In the heat, it will wick moisture to keep you cool. Merino wool also contains a natural antibacterial agent, helping to prevent nasty odours and allowing you to wear the garment for longer between washes.

Buff’s come in a variety of different colours and distinctive designs. Plus they are a fantastic gift idea.

Now even my Mam can be a pirate!
Reviewed By Nik, 30 Mar 2014

I bought this funky buff for my 50+ yr old mother for Mothering Sunday. She loves merino wool and as a keen walker and powerboat crew, needs something breathable, stretchy, lightweight, warm and universal. Now she can be a real pirate!!

Excellent for all climates
Reviewed By Matthew, 23 Dec 2013

The buff is lightweight and warm in wind and moderately cold climates and light and breathable in warmth and sun. It provides excellent UV protection and does not smell. The merino wool is excellent quality and it is very easy to breath through. My only complaint is that it can, at times, get a bit itchy, but this in no way outweighs its positives

Worth the extra
Reviewed By Jenny, 02 Apr 2013

I've used a merino buff for a couple of years now in a variety of conditions both for cycling and hill walking. Buffs make great scarfs which can be pulled up over your face to give protection against the wind. Used this way, they're thin enough to let you breath through and so they're pretty comfortable. The merino version is expensive, but lovely! Compared to a normal buff I think they're warmer and more comfortable to wear. They also have the smell reduction capacity of all merino products. A normal buff does the job though, so if you're on a tight budget you'll not go wrong by buying the cheaper version.
In terms of performance, a buff (or 2) is enough for me, but if you go out in brutal conditions (-10 with 60mph gusts say), they'll not give you enough protection and a sexy full face balaclava would suit you better....

I look buff in my buff!

Love my buff - the merino wool is superfine and comfy and not in the least itchy, and I love the plum colour. Its top quality and the perfect size - recommended.

What more can I say! I work outdoors all day and have had a lovely warm neck in the recent minus 15 degree temperatures. Well worth the money.

Nothing beats this!

Quite simply, it is warm and practical, so parting with your dosh on this buff is money well - spent. My wife even gave me a big smacker for buying it for her! Looks great on her too.

Great ear covering!
Reviewed By Vanessa, 12 Sep 2012

I have just bought a cobalt blue one of these. I have had so many different types of buffs in the past I have lost count. However, this Merino Wool buff is one of my favourite because it allows you to breath through it, without moisture forming on the inside.

I also use it to cover my ears in cold weather (due to having ear problems) and I haven't had an ear ache since I have had one! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay warm, whatever way they want to wear it.

Buff-tastic!
Reviewed By Toni, 20 Jun 2012

Only just discovered the merino version of this marvellous piece of kit. If the normal version is anything to go by I am in for a real treat. As yet un-tried, but hoping for great things on my Dog Sled trip Arctic Circle next March. Will be back with that last star upon my return (hope to grab it from the northern lights sky!)

Reviewed By , 01 Feb 2012

I have been using this buff almost on daily basis and cannot fault it's performance. It effectively soaks away moisture from my long walks and jogs as well provide protection against icy winds. I bought one for my wife too and she has discarded other scarves in favour of the merino buff.

A mini marvel
Reviewed By , 28 Nov 2011

Large enough to snuggle up round the neck under the chin and create a thick draught barrier, but scrunches up small to store in a jacket pocket. I always wear a traditional shirt, but with an open top button. It's brilliant to be able to quickly pull it up over the nose for extra warmth around the face. On top of that it's fun trying out the different ways it can be worn. Must get a spare one to keep in the car.
