Accidental spills are a regular occurance in confined spaces such as a tent on Dartmoor or a DNT hut in Norway, which is why Mountain Hardwear have used a Durable Water Resistant finish on the shell of the Lamina 20 to add an extra level of protection. For the taller user, the Lamina 20 Long is a popular choice for 3 season backpacking.

Perfect UK sleeping bag Reviewed By Andrew, 30 May 2011

I've used Mountain Hardware sleeping bags for a number of years now and changed mine to the Lamina 20 long last September. It packs down really small for it's rated temperature and with it's slightly bigger and longer cut I find it is excellent for my 6' 3" broader frame. I've used it over the autumn and winter and remained nice and warm, including on cold nights in the mountains where Ice has formed on the tent (-3'C)
I use mine with a good Thermarest mat (prolite plus) and have not found it wanting at all.
So in conclusion light, compact warm and well made, comes with an excellent compression sack and a large net bag for storage at home - superb

Good Spring / UK summer sleeping bag Reviewed By C, 20 May 2011

This sleeping bag packs down small, and is easily packed into the stuff bag. It was adequate for spring camping, however, if temperatures dipped below freezing, I would suggest placing a silk sleeping bag liner. The comfort rating is based on a 60kg person, and as I am lighter, found it a little chilly even though temperatures where above freezing. Overall, I am happy with this purchase for a spring/summer sleeping bag, but would not recommend it for early spring / late autumn.
