Product Information

The Helium 2.5 is ideal for backpacking and travelling and is far more comfortable than a standard foam mat. The foam core has drilled vertical holes that not only keep weight to a minimum but also ensure a small packed size. A non-slip abrasion resistant base prevents the mat from moving around as you sleep and a push pull valve allows for rapid inflation and deflation.

It is very comfortable and looks great! It also takes up very little space.
It takes a while to inflate.

I was very happy with the price as it was on sale, not sure I would of paid the full price but for the price I paid it is definitely worth it. Quick to inflate and deflate. Previously I have used a thermarest self inflating mat which was definitely lighter and smaller but mine was broken and didn't inflate which I didn't actually realise until my first night in Yosemite.
I spent the first night unable to work out how to make the mat start to inflate but it is very simple just me being abit dozy.

Good value for money, small pack size and lightweight.
Brought it to NZ to use every night on a 4.5 month Thru hike. It lasted most of the journey but developed a large 'bubble' when the close cells merged rendering it useless.
