Reliable weather protection and super-soft fabric: the Women's P8 Jacket is all about providing outdoor comfort, whatever the weather.

With the peaked hood cinched in, the hem drawcords pulled tight and the cuffs tabbed down, you're protected from whatever the weather may throw at you! In more favourable conditions, the hood stows easily into the brushed-lined collar.

As well as protecting from the outside, the P8's soft-handling HyVent waterproof, breathable fabric allows unwanted moisture to escape, keeping you comfortable from the inside too. Comfort is further enhanced by a soft mesh lining, with non-wicking taffeta around the bottom to avoid drawing moisture up inside the jacket. Zipped hand pockets provide useful storage.

Please note that some items of women's clothing from The North Face are labelled with a US dress size, so a UK size 12, for instance, may have a label stating size 8. When ordering from Cotswold Outdoor, all dress size options correspond to UK sizes.

Just the Job

Bought for my wife who has gone back to Uni to re train as a nurse and wanted a light waterproof jacket for commuting ( and those weekends away in the country) Dual purpose, ticks all the boxes

Pretty and Practical!
Reviewed By , 26 May 2013

As a floor runner on a tv show I spend a lot of time outdoors in very changable conditions that vary from sunny and warm to wet, windy and cold. I bought this jacket as a light layer that I could whip out at a moments notice and so far I have not been disappointed - whatever the weather has thrown at me! It even survived the ultimate test, keeping me dry whilst I stood in the driving rain for 10 hours! I would definitely recommend this jacket. Well worth the price for practicality alone with the added bonus of being a lovely colour (purple) and a feminine shape - it's nice to have a jacket that I can wear to work but would quite happily wear outside of the workplace! A brilliant investment.

Highly Recommended Jacket

Lightweight, quality finish
Reviewed By Jules, 26 Apr 2012

I bought this jacket because it was reduced in price and the cut suitably fitted. It is definitely 'Spring weight' and not for cooler days (as expected). I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for style as well as waterproofing at this time of year.

the right jacket for the job
Reviewed By Melanie, 17 Mar 2012

bought this jacket but in white and it lived up to all its documentation, waterproof (i got quite wet today), windproof, and surprisingly warm despite it feeling quite thin. I have never bought a north face product before and apart from the zip being on the wrong side (which i am told is normal for north face jackets), i am very happy. Perfect for the windy wet fells i love to roam
