Used on my first D of E trip and would highly recommend it. Held all I needed and was comfortable to carry.

Perfect size and fitting
Reviewed By Alan, 10 Oct 2012

I bought this for my daughter's DofE expedition as her existing rucksack hadn't stood up to the task. The adjustable shoulder and chest straps were a boon and allowed exact fitting for comfort; she cam back with no complaints of aches as previously. Very capacious and she got all her gear in without difficulty. Everything stayed dry inside in VERY wet conditions!

Brilliant

I have used this bag almost none stop since I bought it and it has never let me down. Originially bought for a scouting expedition, I have used it for everything from going swimming to cycling to Scarborough. The waster proof cover is exellent, and the front pocket is great for hats and coats etc.

Make's walking a whole lot easier
Reviewed By G, 08 Apr 2012

I used this bag for a d of e expedition trip , and this bag was a recommended kit for d of e. When putting in all the stuff that you carry with you, it seems as if it will be a huge struggle, but it is suprisingly easy to carry, with good shoulder, back and waist support. The endless number of pockets means that it is easy to separate all the things you are taking without having to go through one compartment and trying to search for one tiny object. The fact that it is waterproof is also helpful, and everything is kept very tight inside the bag so nothing falls out. This bag is full of compartments for water bottles and so on. Overall, a very useful bag, no need to worry about overloading it, and no need to worry about it being to heavy. My d of e expedition was made easier for sure!!!

Please note that this rucksack is not waterproof although it does come with a water-resistant rain cover.

Great large day/overnighter rucksack!!!
Reviewed By Milenko, 20 Jan 2012

As I said,..Vango Contour 50+10 is a grat-large daysack/overnighter rucksack.
My ratings are:
-Strength - takes the knocks( in my country, yes we do the knocks..:-))
-Size - It's big but but very flexible.
-Comfortable - takes weight and distributes it nicely.., the top pocket takes a large amount of gear; gloves, hat, head torch, snacks, cakes etc. Internal pocket is good for keys, moby, wallet etc
Really are too many good points to mention an if didn`t win a new one..:-))),I, really cannot see myself needing a replacement!
Vango Contour 50+10 was my the best friend while climbing the Maglich`s peak(2386 m) on January 12-15,2012 (winter sleeping bag,4 season tent, water bag 3l,food,spare wearing, ice axe, walking sticks, first aid kit etc...
Gave it XCELLENT for value!
