I was really impressed when I first picked up this jacket from Cotswold Boucher Rd Belfast two weeks ago.

It looked great, really lightweight, amazing stiffened hood, and 50% discount at the time.

It had it's first use last Saturday - 3 hours walk in what I would call 'moderate' rain. I was dry for around an hour, then realised my arms were getting wet. At first I thought it was sweat but it got really bad and I was freezing, arms were swimming! Another 2 hours later and I'm soaked through. Bent down to take my waterproof trousers off at the end of the trek and a large amount of rainwater streamed out of the "waterproof" pocket at the front! Crazy, glad my mobile wasn't in there! I'll have to take it back for a refund this week, disappointed as the jacket design seemed great before I tried it out :(
