In my experience, these are a fairly hard wearing trouser with an exceptional level of comfort whilst walking and climbing. From a climbing point of view the cut of the garment provides a good level of movement for my legs and doesn't restrict me at all, the downside however is that the leg pockets don't fit guidebooks in very well ( I have had trouble fitting the BMC stannage guidebook)
