I borrowed a neighbours original ETrex for several months before I decided to buy one for myself. Once my decision was made to go for it, it was an easy decision to stick with what I knew already. With the addition of the joystick it has made entering coordinates much quicker than before. Batterie life seems good. And being able to prioritise the order the menu from the home screen is a great feature. Still learning about all the functions but so far all is well and no complaints.

Every year I do an Easter egg hunt for the grandchildren. Now they are teenagers I had to try something new and "cool". Got a Garmin and geocached the Easter eggs at Bedgebury Forest. Boy did it work. They could use it quickly and had a great day out. Buy one and try!!
