Adaptable, keep-it-on-all-day fleece
Reviewed By Paul, 15 Apr 2014

Nice athletic cut with a close-fitting hood. Sits under a helmet really well. The material is tougher than 'normal' fleece (Polartec Micro or similar) and does a good job of keeping some wind out. It's not a replacement for a wind shirt or shell layer, but means you can avoid putting these on for longer, in some cases leaving them in the rucksack all day, especially if you're constantly moving.

I've used this for hillwalking, cragging and mountain routes. The moderate wind proofing, tough feel and close fit make it my first choice of mid layer.

There is some pilling at the bottom, perhaps from rock abrasion, so this jacket isn't bulletproof, but it certainly isn't as susceptible as my Rab VR Lite Alpine. It's also not super-warm as it's quite thin, although again that's useful if you're moving.

Very comfortable jacket

High quality jacket with very resistant DWR finish.
Nice hood, great as a midlayer or all-round use. The cut is good, long enough. I usually use size L, same as the TNF sizing and a bit roomie compared to size L Rab or ME

Superb midlayer- MH top quality and design
Reviewed By keith, 11 Feb 2014

This jacket is normal MH sizing, good arm length with thumb holes for ease when overlaying. Hood is nice and light with good stretch so great for keeping drafts out under helmets or outer jacket hood. A superb all round quality jacket - At this price why are they still in stock? Just get one!
