Less is more: the Lim II Q is a minimalist, lightweight and packable waterproof jacket for those who need to have excellent weather protection but need to have the minimum kit to carry.

Constructed in Gore-Tex fabric with an innovative pattern design, the LIM II Q weighs less than half a pint of water! Features are kept to a minimum but there's no skimping on weather protection: a Gore-Tex weather guard sits behind the water resistant zip, and Haglöfs' excellent hood design locks out rain and adjusts neatly to fit the head, turning with you as you move. The use of shaped, elasticated cuffs shaves weight further, while thumb loops keep sleeves firmly in place during aerobic movements.

Top quality lightweight waterproof jacket
Reviewed By Carron, 04 Mar 2014

I signed up to do the Startrek charity event - a walk on Exmoor at night - and needed to get a jacket. After hours of research, I chose the Haglofs Lim II from the Cotswold site - it turned out to be perfect. I needed something waterproof and windproof but light enough so it didn't weigh me down over the miles. On the night of the walk, it was around 3 degrees with possibility of rain. I wore a base layer, thin fleece then the Haglof as outer shell. It felt so light that I did wonder if I would need another layer but soon warmed up after a couple of miles up and down the trails near Lynmouth. By the first checkpoint, still no rain and I was feeling really hot and sweaty. I took the Haglof off and I was pleased to find that as it's breathable, there was no sweat or moisture inside the jacket. It packed up easily and tucked into a corner of my backpack. Several miles on up and down the trails, we passed the next checkpoint (cake!) and into open moorland, with a cold wind and rain starting. I whipped the jacket back out and quickly put it on, zipped up and hood up. The thumb lops are comfy and kept the jacket firmly over my gloves. The hood is well designed so it didn't blow back in the wind and the slight peak meant that the rain just ran straight off. The wind had felt cold but the Haglof made an instant difference, keeping the wind out. I felt perked up straight away and made it back to base camp without problems. Once in, I shook the rain off the jacket and it was dry straight away, the drops just ran off - dry inside and out. I am absolutely delighted with the Haglofs Lim II Q jacket - it was a perfect choice being lightweight, waterproof, breathable and easy to pack in a small bag.

Fantastic multi function jacket
Reviewed By Collette, 09 Dec 2013

This jacket is very well made and I have used primarily for running. The thumb loops ensure my wrists are dry and the hood fits very well. It can also be used when walking layered over a base layer and fleece. I felt the technology offered by a mountain company such as Haglofs would give more for my money than a running brand.
