On its own, the outer makes a useful waterproof shell for wet conditions and milder temperatures; the inner provides breathable warmth on clearer days. The P8 Jacket is a fantastic value waterproof, breathable shell jacket from renowned outdoor specialists The North Face. Cinch in the stowaway hood and the lower hem with elasticated drawcords and tighten up the cuffs: the weather stays outside, where it belongs. In fine conditions, the hood rolls easily away into the brushed-lined collar. In a soft handling yet durable HyVent polyester fabric for the ideal balance of performance and comfort, the P8 keeps you dry by protecting from the outside and breathing out unwanted moisture from the inside. A soft mesh lining helps maintain comfort without adding extra weight and bulk. Special attention is paid to the lower part of the lining: it's made in a non-wicking fabric to avoid drawing moisture up inside the jacket. A couple of zipped hand pockets complete the P8 package.
