Far more than simply a heavy-duty poly bag to keep a drink in, the Hydraulics Reservoir uses a high strength, taste-free MPE resin, with an anti microbial formula used to prevent the build up of bacteria and mould. The extra fixtures and fittings make it extremely easy to use: rather than being just a soft bag, the Hydraulics has a backing plate which hold its shape, rather than allowing it to barrel out when filled. This means, quite simply, that it doesn't distort the shape of your rucksack's back system. Coupled with the low-profile handle, this makes it a breeze to get it in and out your pack's hydration compartment. The hose has seen its share of development too, with a dual-side exit from the bladder to route it towards the opening in your bag, and a bite valve which not only features a shut-off valve to avaoid leakage, but a magnetic clip to attach it to your sternum strap: securely held in place but with easy, instant access.
