This light, mid-height walking boot from Salomon is designed to provide optimum support and protection on the hill while still offering out-of-the box comfort. If you need more support and protection than you can get from a shoe but don't want the weight and bulk of a boot, the Sector Mid strikes the balance perfectly. A Gore-Tex breathable waterproof lining keeps your feet dry while Salomon's renowned Contagrip sole unit provides sure-footed grip on a variety of surfaces. The EVA midsole offers excellent cushioning and comfort as well as absorbing impact - ideal for walking and light hiking.

The Trail Mid is a boot which, despite its low weight, offers excellent stability and ankle protection for more challenging walks with a pack. Built on a stable Vibram Skeleton sole, the water repellent leather upper is augmented with a waterproof and breathable Gore Tex lining to keep the rain at bay. Toes and heels sport rubber reinforcements and embossed ribs support the leather, preventing deformation over time. As well as support, odour protection comes from the Polygiene treated SOLE mouldable footbeds.

Outstanding

Used out of the box on the Penwith / Kerrier Ramblers Four Moors walk. 12 miles / 5 hours over rough wet / muddy bridleways & open moor. Feet dry and no blisters / discomfort. All my fellow walkers were amazed.

Another Scarpa classic

I have a pair of these Infinity GTX boots and must say they are everything I expected from Scarpa. Italian flair in design so that they fit like a (foot) glove. Get the right size and you'll walk miles and miles in them with no problems what so ever. As far as value for money goes, at half-price (£70) you won't get a better bargain all year. Nowadays, I wouldn't wear any other brand, Scarpa are the dog's bo**o*ks as far as I'm concerned! And no, I don't work for them nor know anyone who does...

Great Year Round UK Boots

I've had a pair of Infinity for about 16 months now and they have served me well. Originally intended to purchase a full leather pair but after trying many pairs thought I'd "give them a try". Excellent fit from new, needed no breaking in. I have flat feet and find that these fully support me. Recommend them to anyone!!!

Excellent boots at a great price!

I purchased these boots at half price here after wearing out the soles on my last 2 pairs of Scarpas - from thousands of miles not from bad workmanship I hasten to add.
My last 2 pairs were Scarpa goretex boots and they're still waterproof after years. They're comfortable straight from the box, have good breathability and are well made. I've never had them rub or blister. I can't recommend them highly enough, especially at this price.

Great, lightweight, durable and flexible boot.

Bought this boot yesterday and went on a walk a couple of hours later. A very well built, flexible and super light weight boot that provides extremely comfortable fitting and supports the ankles very well. Would recommend this boot to anyone.

Fab boots and offer!

I bought these as an emergency replacement of a previous pair of high spec Salomons, and have been surprised (and happy) about their performance! They're light, well-made and very very comfortable. Also, the guys in the (Piccadilly) shop were super helpful on best fit and other options... but glad I stuck to this one.

Good lightweight shoes

Went out to buy Merrell shoes but tried these on and they are so much lighter and comfortable - not tried on long treks yet but sure they will be great
