Rab then combined this stretch with a free moving cut, to make the Mens Spark Jacket perfect for the needs of the Alpinist - as well as for the needs of anybody who wants to enjoy unrestricted movement! Also catering for the mountain enthusiast is the helmet-compatible hood, and the generously sized pockets are positioned to be accessible when you're clad in a harness, as well as being mesh lined to function as vents. All this in a jacket which weighs less than half a pint of water!

The P8 Jacket is a fantastic value waterproof, breathable shell jacket from renowned outdoor specialists The North Face. Cinch in the stowaway hood and the lower hem with elasticated drawcords and tighten up the cuffs: the weather stays outside, where it belongs. In fine conditions, the hood rolls easily away into the brushed-lined collar. In a soft handling yet durable HyVent polyester fabric for the ideal balance of performance and comfort, the P8 keeps you dry by protecting from the outside and breathing out unwanted moisture from the inside. A soft mesh lining helps maintain comfort without adding extra weight and bulk. Special attention is paid to the lower part of the lining: it's made in a non-wicking fabric to avoid drawing moisture up inside the jacket. A couple of zipped hand pockets complete the P8 package.
