The Neutrino Endurance is a lightweight, fully featured and very warm down jacket designed primarily for climbing and mountain use. The Neutrino Endurance has become the benchmark down jacket for modern mountaineering and lightweight ascents. The Pertex Endurance outer provides durable protection against storm and spindrift while retaining minimal weight and packsize. High lofting is provided by the 225g (size L) of 800 fill pure European goose down. The Neutrino Endurance is one of those jackets that just does everything you need it to - a firm favourite among professional mountain athletes and an ideal piece for UK and Alpine winter conditions. great belay jacket and boulder jacket

i use my jacket to belay in on cold and windy belay or when i am out bouldering and trying to keep warm, its a superb jacket an recommended to anyone, packs down well if space is need elsewhere. only problem i have is if it get wet, it gets heavy! but easily dried out in front of an open fire. superb jacket from Rab once agian. :D

Should change the name to "Neutrino infantrymans"

The British army are now becoming one of the worlds leaders in kit and equipment but one thing they have failed to bring to the all year all season infantryman is a good piece of warm kit to keep morale high as well as body temp. I first heard about down jackets when a friend started to wear a north face nup jacket so i asked him if i could trail it but found it was a little to big to pack in my patrol sack so i started to do a little research to only find what can only be described as "the only bit of morale on frezzing cold nights hitting -23 i have" It may put a dent in the wallet but i would never look back!!! Thankyou Cotswold

Great Winter Jacket

This jacket is superb it comes with a bag to fold it up and put it in your kiy, the only down side is it's rarely cold enough to use it!!!

Seriously compact; very warm

Spent quiet some time thinking about this jacket. Travelling across europe and wanted something warm at low temperatures but compact and light.

Very glad I purchased it. Not only was it extremely lightweight but it was very warm. The hood was very useful having initially thought it would not be used. Pulling this up over my head really kept me warm.

An added bonus is the number of pockets. Not only are there quiet a few but they are large and I was able to keep passport in zipped inner pocket and gloves and small camera in outer; again zipped closed nicely.

Overall a great jacket and very happy I purchased it.

lightweight, comfy, warm

This jacket fits me really well, i can move freely without it feeling tight anyway!It's very comfy and most importantly it keeps me warm on the coldest of days even if I only have a t-shirt on underneath!!!!

Like wearing a duvet!!

This is the best jacket I have ever bought. It is by far the lightest jacket I own and warmest. You dont seem to bake in it either. If you are thinking of getting a down jacket look no further, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing jacket

this is the first north face insulation jacket i have bought after been told by many that they are brilliant. so took the plung and got one the other day and my god they were not lying or over exaggerating. The jacket is very stylish to look at and is very nice fitting. Its light and very warm. As im in the army i will be replacing my issued warm kit with this as its lighter and warmer. Used it over last couple days to walk to and from work around 6 miles and i arrived nice and warm even tho its currently -2 with a wind chill of -5. So overall very good jacket and very good all round a must buy for those cold days.

Versatile, well made and very warm

I was lucky enough to get one of these for christmas and I have lived in it this winter. It is well finished and the cut is comfortable in the right places - space for arms, space for moving, keeps kidneys warm. It is warmer than the last one that I had from a usa company and lighter too, so I guess that means better quality down. I wear it as an over layer around the house (saved a fortune on heating oil!) and it makes my waterproof jacket into a great winter coat, it packs away small enough to fit in my 20 litre rucksack along with my jacket and water and food for a day so I am warm when I stop. The only down(!!)side is the expense but it is worth every penny it cost, I will buy this again if mine ever becomes unwearable.

Perfect for chilly mornings.

I badgered my girlfriend into buying this for my birthday. Very glad I did as it is soooo warm and cosy. Packs down really small so takes up very little room when the weather warms up.

Warm and Trendy

My son requested this for his xmas present and wasnt sure as it was at the higher price range compared with others that I looked at. After much consideration I realised that he requested this particular vest due to its 'cool' rating. But since he hasnt stopped wearing it since xmas I realise that it also does a fantastic job of keeping him warm. It fitted perfectly and wears well with either a shirt for slighly warmer weather or a thick jumper for colder days. I feel it was a good investment for the price as the quality and look of the vest is excellent.

THE SAME THIS YEAR,ANYWAY!,I FIGURED IF IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE WEATHER REPORTERS ON TV IT WOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR MYSELF.LOOKED AT SEVERAL BRANDS AT FIRST BECAUSE I THOUGHT £100 WAS EXPENSIVE BUT WENT FOR NORTH FACE AFTER RESEARCH AND HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED,THE QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT IS FIRST CLASS,HIGHEST QUALITY COMBINED WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN FABRICS,PLUS I THINK NORTH FACE HAS THE COOL FACTOR TOO.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Fantastic Vest

Brilliant Jacket

Amazingly warm, doesn't restrict movement, compacts down very small for transport, I highly recommend!
Only negative is that it does lose a few feathers through the fabric, but nothing to detract from the quality of this jacket!

Looks good but disappointing quality.

I'm a fan of Berghaus clothing however, this is probably the most disappointing item of theirs that I have bought. It looks good and is quite warm but it is continually losing a lot of feathers and down, which too easily poke through the outer material.

no 1 outdoor

once you have this jacket, you can not choose any other when you are leaving home in winter. this jacket is so light and comfortable not to forget its warmth and yet it looks cool on anybody.
