Mens Infinity Endurance Jacket

1 2 3 4 5

The Infinity Endurance Jacket builds on the success of the acclaimed Infinity Jacket, taking the concept a step further with the addition of a water resistant treatment to the outer fabric. When you stop moving and pull on your down jacket, you can't guarantee the weather will be crisp and clear, but you don't want to carry a heavy jacket just in case. The Endurance treatment added to the super-light Pertex Quantum GL fabric keeps out light rain, wind blown snow and increases the jacket's durability but at just 495g (size L), you'll hardly notice it in your pack. Square-quilted baffles and a Lycra edged hood contain 850 fill power European goose down for fantastic warmth. Although aimed squarely at the alpininst and lightweight mountaineer, this is a jacket for anybody who insists on lightweight warmth and weather protection.

Best down jacket I own

Took it to the Tatras and became my best friend there. Packs small in its store bag if not needed (takes a while to fit it in though). Protects you perfectly from cold, the down hood was ideal. We were at about -10 to -18 C most of the time and I didn't feel cold at all in my upper body. I am sure that colder temperatures can be handled well by this jacket. Extremely light and you can move freely. The outer fabric is very thin but resistant. I bought a size that would be loose on me rather than tight. Did not rain so I can't say anything about its water repellency. Back home too hot in it for casual wear.

Great Insulated Jacket

Owned for a couple of months, fantastic!
Really warm and I mean REALLY warm, does exactly as its supposed to, and the new material (different from the original Infinity) actually does repel the water- i've been caught out a few times by sudden downpour wearing this jacket and it's held up just fine and taken minutes to dry out!
The only down side is the jackets overall length- i have a long ish back and it only just covers it (ok standing but rides up a little when seated) otherwise the jacket is true to size and large has a good snug fit over a mid weight fleece (I'm 6ft, 44 chest)
Brilliant warm winter jacket, recommended!

Like wearing a duvet!!

This is the best jacket I have ever bought. It is by far the lightest jacket I own and warmest. You dont seem to bake in it either. If you are thinking of getting a down jacket look no further, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing jacket

this is the first north face insulation jacket i have bought after been told by many that they are brilliant. so took the plung and got one the other day and my god they were not lying or over exaggerating. The jacket is very stylish to look at and is very nice fitting. Its light and very warm. As im in the army i will be replacing my issued warm kit with this as its lighter and warmer. Used it over last couple days to walk to and from work around 6 miles and i arrived nice and warm even tho its currently -2 with a wind chill of -5. So overall very good jacket and very good all round a must buy for those cold days.

just incedible

I bought this smock to use as a winter mid layer and boy does it perform ! exceptionally warm and lightweight too. The handwarmer pockets are a wonderful for me as i am an instructor (so spend a lot of time standing round) the generator has a very comfortable feel as well. The pertex is a bit thin for my liking and the elastic on the sleeve could do with a redesign as the sleeve droops over the cuff which is a pain. The fleece lined neck is a nice touch, without adding weight. The collar is snug for a good heat seal and the elastic drawcord on the bottom is strong and durable. It performs well in 'shower proofness' and can beat off a light shower with ease, and dry fast too. I combined this with a thermal and a vapour rise guide jacket over the top and i was toasty in a 67 mph wind, definately the best primalost garment on the market today.

Great Winter/Autumn Jacket

Rab are renowned for producing excellent outdoor equipment and the Rab Generator is no exception. I purchased this is October to be used in the early part the winter, however I have worn it all through winter even on the coldest of days. The Generator keeps you warm with the added bonus of being light weight and easy to pack/store.

My go to jacket

I never leave the house without this jacket whether its for a day on the hill or going shopping. The Pertex outer is fantastic at blocking the wind out and repelling water. Even though it is not waterproof it has never failed me when I have been caught in even the heaviest shower. The Primaloft insulation provides a nice amount of warmth even when walking and it heats you up quickly if you stop. The Primaloft also keeps a good amount of heat in even if it gets wet and for those indifferent days or days spent playing in the snow is a much better option than down. You just need to watch yourself near anything sharp as it doesn't take much to put a nick in the Pertex. This jacket definitely deserves a place in anyones wardrobe.

Very Light, Very Warm.

I bought this top in jacket format as I thought that might be more flexible. It has proved an excellent buy as winter insulation and I think will also be useful on cool evenings when backpacking in summer.

Superb warm Jacket

I have just bought one of these jackets and worn it on a trip to Everest Base Camp and it has been fantastic. I have only needed a down jacket on the coldest of morning starts, the rest of the time this has been toasty. It is very light and squashes into a small bundle when it warms up.

Blowing a hoolie.

Choosing what to pack has always been a difficult decision. Weight over performance? Style over substance? Not anymore. This Rab Pull On has it all. Weighing in at a paltry 350g and packing down into an incredibly small size, this is now the first piece of kit I pack. It performs well in all but the heaviest drizzle, retaining warmth and freedom of movement. It buffers against high winds, which would otherwise steal away hard won warmth, but which are not severe enough for a full on jacket. An essential piece of kit that allows you flexibility on the hills, without compromising on performance or preparedness. Stood up well to the wet and blustery conditions of the Brecon Beacons without stopping for breath. Unlike me.
