About the store
Welcome
Our store stocks a vast range of outdoor equipment by leading brands such as The North Face, Berghaus, Mountain Hardwear, Rab, Helly Hansen, and Salomon, so no matter where you're going or what you're up to, we can guarantee that you'll do it in style and comfort! On top of looking great on the hill we've also bashed through to next door, expanding the shop and our range of casual outdoor clothes, which now include famous brands such as Animal, Fat Face and Icebreaker and Weird Fish, so you'll look great down the pub after a hard day's climbing.
With the new season upon us we have re-arranged the store to give it a new and refreshed look, with a great range of winter kit!
Location
The Reading branch is located just off junction 11 of the M4, on the Basingstoke Road. The store is situated opposite Morrisons, and next door to Barclays Bank, with car parking behind the shop and outside Morrisons.
Expert advice
As always the staff at Cotswold Reading provide some of the friendliest and finest advice. All our staff are highly trained, fervent enthusiasts of the outdoors and can offer you expert advice to suit all your needs.
Boot fitting service
We provide an expert boot fitting and adjustment service, and once our experts have fitted you up you still have the option of a home trial!
Library
For those who have travelled from afar, we have a comfortable reading and library area. Our library houses a full range of Lonely Planets, maps, and a comprehensive range of climbing guides for areas all over the country, as well as an excellent range of climbing DVDs! So whatever you're into and wherever you're going we'll have something for you.
