About the store
Welcome
Whether you're about to tackle the West Highland way or you're on a quest to complete all of the Munro's, our store in Glasgow has everything that you need to help you on you're journeys.
Cotswold established its store in the heart of the West End in April 1999. Since then it has grown to become the premiere place for outdoor equipment in Glasgow and Southern Scotland.
Location
Our store is situated in the West End of Glasgow, and is in easy reach from the M8 motorway and the A82 (Great Western Road). As we're only 3 miles from the city centre, the traffic is a lot lighter, so it's easier to get to us if you're in a hurry. For those of you want to use the public transport we have Partick Underground and mainline station only 5 minutes walk from us. There also many bus services that stop regularly on Dumbarton Road.
Parking
We're certainly one of the easiest places to get to in and around Glasgow. Once you're here, parking is easy, as the retail park has over 200 spaces.

Library
Are you about to go travelling around the world? Or maybe looking for a Scottish guide book? Well we've most likely got the guide book or map that you need. Our library has just about every book for every outdoor activity that you can think of. If you can't find the book or map that you're looking for, let us know and we'll order it for you.
Casual Clothing
Can't decide what to wear after a hard day out on the hill? Why not have a look at our range of casual clothing from brands such as The North Face, A5, Helly Hansen, White Stuff, Animal and many more. It's worthwhile visiting us regularly as we constantly have new ranges arriving.
Boot Fitting
Are you having problems with you're footwear? Sore feet? Blisters? We can help. All you need to do is make an appointment to see our Phil Oren trained boot fitter and we'll do the rest.
Ski Clothing
So you've booked your holiday? Now come and visit us. We have ski clothing and accessories to suit everyone from the first time skier heading off to the Scottish ski areas right through to the experienced skier off to Canada in search of powder.

Outdoor enthusiasts
Our staff come from a broad cross section of outdoor backgrounds, so whether you're off trekking in the Alps, or going skiing for the first time, or climbing in Glencoe, we've got staff that will be able to offer friendly and helpful advice. We also like to hear your stories and learn a lot from customer feed back. So if you have a story to tell, or can advise us on techniques and gear you have used then feel free to drop in - we'd love to see you.
Want to trial any of our products at home?
No problem. In fact we recommend you do. Pay for your new gear and you can trial it at home at your leisure. We think it's especially important to trial footwear at home, but also jackets, rucksacks, electronics - you name it. All we ask is that if you decide you don't want to keep your purchase you return it within a month, as new in the original packaging and retain your receipt.
