Welcome
Outdoor enthusiasts and adventure travellers in search of real outdoor knowledge will be delighted to find the UK's Number 1 outdoor equipment supplier in the heart of Kingston. Building on Cotswold's reputation of offering the best selection and advice for adventure clothing and equipment, the aim of the store is to inspire and excite people about the great outdoors. The 5,500 sq. ft. store is situated on 2 floors.
Range
We pride ourselves on offering a complete selection of outdoor kit year round. Whether you need travel clothing during the winter or a down jacket during the summer, you can find it here. Knowledgeable and well-travelled staff are always on hand to provide advice, information and equipment for all your adventures. So far this year, we've had staff away snowboarding, skiing, backpacking, climbing, cycling and mountain biking, kite flying as well as competing in duathlons and marathons - you name it, and I'm sure we've done it! So don't be afraid to ask for advice.
An extensive footwear range is backed up with experienced staff to provide the best footwear fitting service in the area. Also, a full range of outdoor equipment is on display ranging from clothing to sleeping bags, tents to rucksacks and climbing equipment to travel equipment. A large book, map and guide selection completes the picture. In addition, snow sports have always been a great passion in the store, and the newly expanded range of ski and snowboard wear and equipment in our dedicated department will ensure you are warm and comfortable, whether cruising on the piste or hiking the back country for fresh powder (available from the beginning of November).
Expanded for this season is our Icebreaker range of Merino Wool clothing. Exceptionally popular among the staff, the clothing ranges through 140 weight t's that are great for travelling, to 260 weight zip necks for a skiing base layer, right up to the 320 weight pullovers that are great for relaxing in front of the chalet fire.
Location
The store is located at the top of Clarence Street; only 2 minutes walk from Kingston Railway Station, and only a minute walk from the main bus station. The Bentall Centre is close by and there are numerous car parks.
