Welcome
When you visit our store, you'll discover the UK's most extensive range of outdoor clothing, rucksacks, footwear, camping products, travel accessories and climbing equipment from leading brands such as The North Face, Rab, Mountain Equipment, Macpac, Lowe Alpine and Marmot to name but a few. Also, our new range for the winter is now in, including some exciting new products unique to our store. These include brands such as Norrona, Arc'teryx and Haglofs, with some fantastic ski and mountaineering clothing that is well worth a look! We are also an Icebreaker Touchpoint store, with a wide range of merino products to complement our range of shells. Merino wool garments make a great addition to any layering system, so why not pop in to the store to talk to us about the benefits of switching?
About the store
Whilst in store, why not relax on one of our comfortable sofas and leaf through a book of your choice from our library, which has the most extensive collection of outdoor and travel books in the South West. We offer a huge range of titles, from local and international walking and climbing guides, instructional books on all sorts of activities and travel and mountain literature. We also stock the full range of OS maps, Rough Guide and Lonely Planet guidebooks, to inspire you for your next trip. In addition we are a premier dealer for Memory Map mapping software and can demonstrate the features of this innovative product using our in store PC.
Staff
We also are proud to have enthusiastic and highly experienced staff to offer sound advice based on their own extensive experiences. Between us, we have travelled all over the globe, with our store team comprising passionate mountaineers, climbers, skiers, mountain bikers, trail runners and walkers. We are more than happy to pass on our knowledge, recommend places to visit or just take time to swap adventure stories.
Boot fitting
Cotswold Outdoor Exeter provides a free expert boot fitting service. If you suffer from blisters, painful feet or joints when you walk, we can help! The addition of a Custom Moulded Superfeet Chair to the store adds an extra dimension to our boot fitting service, with it's unique and patented non-weight bearing fitting process. This guarantees insoles that will conform to and support your feet - a process that ensures superior comfort and control. We also offer a boot modification service if you are experiencing problems with the fit of your footwear. Phone the store to make an appointment with an experienced boot fitter and we will do our best to help you say goodbye to sore feet.
