About the store
Welcome
We are proud to be in such a beautiful city and in such a place, it is only fitting that the building itself reflects something of the timeless character that you would come to expect of such an historic city. William Russell's House is the second oldest privately owned building in the UK at over 700 years old and is by far the oldest building in the Cotswold family, originally built between 1306 & 1314 and with much of the original building exposed to see it is well worth a trip in itself.
Location
Located in the heart of Salisbury, overlooking the Guild Hall & the Market Square you are spoilt for parking locations as well as a nice day out in one of England's most stunning of cities.
Staff
Our staff are from a broad cross section of outdoor backgrounds from Kingston Maurward outdoor management graduates, climbers and winter sport enthusiasts to experienced lightweight trekkers; so whether you're off in the Alps, family camping in Cornwall, or going skiing for the first time, we've got staff that will be able to offer that friendly and helpful advice you have come to expect from us at Cotswold Outdoor.
Boot Fitting
Our staff team are extremely knowledgeable and are more than happy to spend time with every individual to ensure the best fit and that the most appropriate footwear is found. Some of our staff team have further developed their knowledge of boot fitting, in order that they can help customers with a whole range of boot difficulties. If you feel you could benefit from this extra knowledge, please contact the store to arrange to see one of these team members.

We are proud to be able to support local groups and events with an affiliation to the outdoors. If you are organising a local event or you run a local club and think that we may be able to help, please contact Anthony Bevins (Store Manager) at the store at anytime.
