Free expert Boot Fitting in all of our nationwide stores

All of our 39 stores offer expert boot fitting by specially trained boot-fitting technicians. We've gone to these lengths because we believe that getting the right fit on a pair of boots is one of the most important considerations for a good day on the hills. So If you are looking to buy a new pair of boots, our in-store boot fitting service is there to help give you that extra bit of comfort when making your purchase.

How it works:
Anyone buying new boots at Cotswold can have them fitted by a fully trained boot-fitting technician.

They’ll accurately measure both feet and discuss your walking needs with you. They will also measure them with you standing up so your feet are weighted.

Once they are happy with the measurements, they’ll help you select a pair of boots, making sure of a snug fit and carry out any fine-tuning where necessary.

Next they’ll test your boots on a special incline board, where any problems will be noticed and a different size or brand suggested.

This attention to detail enables us to give you a fit guarantee alongside our standard 12 month guarantee.

Already have boots but having problems with them?
If you already own a pair of boots and you are experiencing discomfort when out on the hills then bring them in and we'll assess whether it is something that can be addressed through the use of insoles, volume reducers or other means. There is no charge for the fitting, even if you didn't purchase your boots at Cotswold originally, but any materials required will need to be purchased.
