A great look for sunny days on the slopes or chilling out at the lodge, the Men's Manaslu Vest is ideal as a layering piece to keep you snug and warm. The premium duck down provides plush insulation as the temperature drops so that you can stay out on the slopes or hills for longer. Weather resistance is provided by a robust, wind and water resistant polyester outer with DWR treatment. For ultimate practicality, the lightweight design compresses down very well meaning that it’s easy to pack and you can always keep it close at hand.

Purchased both the Black and the Grey Vest, MASSIVE MISTAKE. As some reviewers have already stated they "Leak feathers" constantly, forget about useing a backpack or sitting down for any length of time when wearing as even the slightest of pressure on your back and the feather leak constantly. As Cotswold are the only stockists I believe these Manaslu Vests are 2nd's or Fakes..There is no other explanation for such poor quality from Berghaus.

The Manaslu vest ticks most boxes for a fucntional down gilet and at the reduced price of £70 is great value but a the full asking price of £110 it begins to cede ground to its major rivals, the North Face Nupste Vest and Rab Micolight. It is down but only duck down and feather mix compared with it's rivals' 100% goose down and as its fill power is lower, needs to be bulkier to be as warm. Although it is reasonably packable it won't pack into its own pocket nor does it come with a stuff sack which is a nuisance. Useful feature are the fleece collar, chest pocket, DWR finish, neck zip garage and slightly longer length than its rivals. The one thing that made me going looking for its rivals and be prepared to pay more though was the single panel on the shoulders which made it very bulky at the back of the neck and as well as the Michelin Man effect quilted vests always come with had a bit of a hunchback effect. Great value but not perfect.

I've used my Manaslu Vest for several months and at the discounted price, it's about worth it. It fits well, is very comfortable and certainly warm. It's downside,mentioned by a few other reviewers, is it's "leaking" down. It's not only the stitches that the down comes through. Don't wear it over dark woollens as they will be speckled with white feathers and they do not come off easily! If it's for serious outdoor wear, I'd recommend considering a better-made alternative - maybe Rab. You get what you pay for. This vest seems to be made exclusively for Cotswold,in which case the full RRP of £110.00 is a little disingenuous.

I went into the Preston store to buy this Gillet and the service that i recieved was excellent. The staff were really helpful when i asked about the product and she was very knowledgable. The product is really nice, it doesnt only look good but also is very warm and comfortable. The price is great, at only £70 (couldnt find it anywhere else for cheaper). Overall, really good experiance, i would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a stylish, comfortable and cheap gillet.

bought this a few weeks ago for a trip to France. It stood up well to the cold and was extremely light and comfortable for what i needed it for. Family already jealous and have put on their Christmas list

This vest was by far the comfiest I tried on in the store.
With 600 down fill this will be more than enough warmth for those dry winter days and will fit in we'll with my other Berghaus gear....Bring on the cold weather I am more than ready now :)

At full price this doesn't compare well to the much higher quality down in vests like the Rab Neutrino, but at the discounted price it's a really warm and well designed item. Sizing came up fairly standard.

After dropping numerous unsubtle hints, I received this jacket for a Christmas present from my partner. I have been unable to take it off since! It's perfectly warm, comfortable, and feels really well made. Even the pockets feel warm! Oh yes, there are no calories involved!

I've bought a few different vests over the years and was looking to add a black one to my collection. My first stop was North Face and I was originally going in-store to buy a Nuptse 2 vest in black. Then I saw the offer on the Manaslu and thought I'd try it on. Firstly, the material has a nicer feel compared to the North Face vest and it is not as bulky but just as warm. The fit is snug and the soft finish fabric on the collar is also a nice touch. I'm really pleased with this purchase and with a reduction of £40 it represents really good value!

Great insulating jacket keeps you warm on those freezing cold nights standing outside watching football for example. I found it very cosy and kept me very warm. Also great for wearing when hiking very good source of insulation kept me warm but not too sweaty. Just a great all round jacket. I Highly recommend it to anyone who would stand outside to watch sport or for an extra layer when hiking. Well worth £70!! Buy it when its cheap people.

I was originally going to buy a TNF Nupste vest but when I tried on this because of the offer price I was very impressed. The lining material is very comfortable and it has a good high collar also with a soft lining. The chest pocket is also useful and if you can get one at the offer price I'd highly recommend it.

I was looking for The North Face vest but my size was out of stock. I decided then to try Berghaus Vest and I have to say that it was a really good choice. It is a very good quality and warm vest with deep pockets and fit perfectly with my Berghaus fleece. Highly recommended vest!!!
