Good 3/4 seasons jacket Reviewed By Keith, 27 Mar 2013

i have had Three jackets in 11 years, my second jacket leaked on the left shoulder. I had for 9 months then took it back to Don Valley sports in Doncaster, they sent it off to Berghaus who tested it overnight in a spray booth. This confirmed my left arm leak and they replaced it with a new season jacket free of charge. I still have that one now and every so often i nick wax it. Great buy.

Solid & dependable jacket from Berghaus Reviewed By Karl, 19 Oct 2012

Unlike some of the other reviews above, I opted for the 2012 version which has gone back to velcro cuffs which stay fastened! The retractable hood is good but to be honest I prefer to leave mine down. The pockets are ideally situated and the vent zips under the arms make a big difference.

Great jacket but comes with one annoying problem.. Reviewed By Russell , 09 Aug 2012

Bought this jacket because I consider Beghaus to be a quality brand. It looks great and is totally waterproof. One problem though, the cuffs will not stay fastened - such a design flaw. Wanted the coat to wear clay pigeon shooting but impossible to shoot with the cuffs unfastening in your line of aim. Wouldn't recommend unless they get this changed.

good all round moutain jacket Reviewed By chris, 18 Aug 2011

the berghaus mera peak is a good all rounder on the hill but its only downfall is the new style cuff attachments which do not hold down very well compared to the traditional velcro style, but all in all a good coat for the price.

Brilliant waterproof jacket Reviewed By , 23 Jun 2011

I bought this jacket earlier this year and used it on a weekend's walking in the Lake District. It is light, practical (I could get an OS map in the pocket), comfortable, breathable and most importantly......kept me dry through 3 days very wet weather !!
