Comfortable boots - good in snow and rain Reviewed By Joan, 15 Mar 2013

I wore my new Berghaus boots on recent trip to Norway. They are extremely comfortable boots which give good support but are not heavy to wear and kept my feet dry and warm as we walked through heavy snow. They didn't slip and slide when walking on slightly slippery icy surfaces. Highly recommended and would advise getting fitting help from in-store staff.

Great boots Reviewed By Fiona, 03 Mar 2013

I went for these as I have had a pair of Berghaus before, which I loved. All I can say that I wasn't disappointed, they were just as comfy and roomy as my last pair.

Comfort and style Reviewed By Molly, 16 Feb 2013

The very patient and knowledgeable assistant, Peter, in the Belfast store helped me to choose these boots. They are light and roomy enough to allow for middle aged wide feet. They will soon be put to the test walking in Tenerife. In July they will be tested in wetter conditions in Northumberland.

Superb Walking Boots Reviewed By LINDY, 07 May 2012

After experiencing severe toe pain walking downhill last year, a new pair of boots were required, but which make ?
After a visit to Cotswolds & expert advice from a member of staff, I purchased the Berghaus Explorer Trek GTX Boot.
Very light on the feet, almost like slippers, I was concerned if they were "man enough" for the Lakeland Fells.
I needn't have worried, 7 days of continuous wear, pounding up and down some challenging paths, scrambling over rocks, through wet and mud and not one twinge.
Not only were they "man enough", they were as comfortable at the end of the walk as they were at the beginning.
Plenty of grip, good support and waterproof.
They don't look too bad either !
Good choice.

the best boots ever Reviewed By Kirsten, 02 Oct 2011

onto my second pair - they fit straight from the box without a blister in sight. My first pair walked the West Highland Way twice and did 4 years daily duty at my work. It was a sad day when they finally died a death but they owed me nothing.

The best boots ever! Reviewed By Magdalena, 21 Jul 2011

I have owned my pair for more than 4 years now. They took me to several places in the world and the UK and never had problems with them - from the hot sands of Mojave, unbearable heat of Death Valley, through glaciated peaks of the Rockies to wet Norway coast. This year we are going to GR20 in Corsica and I am sure they will be the best companion on this toughest European trek!
