Great starter shoe Reviewed By Jonathan, 18 May 2013

I've used these for trading and sport climbing at numerous walls.

Their comfortable enough to wear all day but rigid enough to deal with the basics.

It must also be said that after the pleasant chap at the Boucher Road, Belfast store spent about half an hour with me trying on different shoes, these were the only shoes that actually fitted me in my size!

All in all a great intro shoe to get your feet used to being a little cramped.

Great climbing shoe-perfect for a beginner Reviewed By Saskia, 13 Apr 2013

I bought this shoe from the Preston store about a month ago and I have worn it multiple times. Its my first pair of climbing shoes and I am very happy- I tried on quite a few I had picked myself until the shop manager recommended these. They were the most comfortable of all - in a climbing shoe pain rating. The help I received in store was excellent and I'd highly recommend going in store and asking for some help-however if not these shoes are an excellent buy! I went for one size larger than my feet as being a beginner I didn't want my feet to be too squashed up The lace fit helps mould them to my feat and the colour is exactly as on the picture a lovely aqua blue. They also have 2 handy loops at the back for carrying them.. Overall a great shoe and great staff help

First rock shoes? Look no further! Reviewed By Katie, 28 Sep 2012

Allow me to preface this by explaining that I have reasonably wide size 8 feet; I couldn't even look at the women's shoes in my local Cotswold store, and having tried on all the other men's shoes under about £80 in approximately my size, I was beginning to tear my hair out - especially after trying on a pair of Red Chilis and managing to get my entire hand inside the shoe with my foot... until I met the Joker.

Being lace-up shoes, they're very flexible in terms of sizing, and the soft material used for the tongue and the top of the shoe make them super comfortable, and I imagine quite breathable. They're flexible, but stiff enough to provide good support, and almost as if moulded specially for my foot.

I've only climbed with the Joker indoors so far, but found that a 5a route I struggled to complete the week before purchasing them is now far easier: the old rumour that a good pair of rock shoes will improve your climbing is no joke. I can't wait to try these babies outdoors.

Popular for good reason! Reviewed By bryony, 26 Mar 2012

I bought these for a charity climbathon, so their first use was to climb a vertical mile! They are very comfortable, even with my buniony foot. The laces allow for a very precise, consistent fit and the squashy tongue means there is no uncomfortable pressure across the top of your foot. Very grippy and feel like a second skin. They are possibly not as stiff as some people may like, hence 4 stars, but that did mean I could wear them for 8 hours straight :-)

Great climbing shoe Reviewed By Luke, 29 Feb 2012

I bought these shoes after trying on every pair in my local Cotswold store, with the help of one of the very knowledgeable staff. These shoes are noticeably more comfortable than many of the other shoes thanks to their mesh lining. Although being new to climbing and finding the fit of a climbing shoe strange, after a few sessions I found these shoes just got more comfy and perform well. I would highly recommend this shoe!

Very comfortable, great all rounders! Reviewed By Scott, 12 Oct 2011

These fit perfectly and seem as though they were moulded around my feet. Took a few hours of climbing for them to stretch/wear in in the right places but now i really dont want them to wear out. The best stickies i've ever had, and at a very reasonable price.
