Excellent water resistancy and comfortable Reviewed By Mark, 19 May 2013

Great to be able to zip off lower leg bits in warmer weather and great when wind picks up as double thickness really does keep out that chill. Loads of pockets for those bits and pieces and comfortable to boot! Great walking trousers!

Great Reviewed By Martin, 30 Sep 2012

Great trouser, zips worked fine for me on Three peaks, and plan to take to Everest next year. A good price compared to others on the market.

Proficent performers Reviewed By Pete, 19 Sep 2012

These trousers are comfortable, I have never used the unzippable bottoms but can attest to the fact that they do dry quickly, the built in belt is disappointing as it doesn't function that well, if I saw these in the sale I would buy without hesitation

Disappointing Reviewed By D, 20 Jun 2012

I have had a variety of 'convertibles' over the years, Berghaus, TNF, Mountain Hardwear. I thought I'd try these based on other reviews. I was lucky, they were in a clearance sale at £15! The cut lacks the innovation of other designs, the fabric takes too long to dry and the zips are not robust. I took them on a 2-week trip to Ethiopia and wore them on 2 brief occasions before going back to my TNF trousers. Maybe Noslife ones would be better, but I'll not be trying them.

Good but! Reviewed By Robert, 14 May 2012

The zip off joint needs to be a little better lined inside as this area rubs against your legs as you walk!

Fantastic, love them. Reviewed By Matthew, 18 Mar 2012

Wore a pair of these for a, fair weather, three peaks challenge and they were spot on. Water repellent when required (foggy Nevis) and the zip off feature great when temp' climbed faster then me on Snowdon. Have finally worn them out after 4 years and looking to replace with the same product.

Waste of money Reviewed By , 08 Jan 2012

I have had two pairs of these trousers (one I bought, one as a gift) and both suffered from the same problems:
1. The trouser leg zips are not robust enough to last through many zippings/unzippings.
2. There is a rough seam in the crotch area, that gave me the only sore I have ever had on a trekking holiday.

Zip Off is NO Rip Off ! Reviewed By , 23 Jun 2011

I recently purchased two pairs of these trousers, a navy pair and a grey pair. I loved having th ability to remove the lower parts of the trouser legs, which enabled me to ventilate my legs and catch the sun, with little hassle in reversing the process, if the weather turned sour.

Would recommend these to those who will be using them reguarly, as £47.00 is a lot to spend, for a pair of trousers you will not be using much. A good purchase for a D of E particpant who is looking to go from Bronze to Silver then Gold ... these will last the distance !
