An I Beam back construction on this HMS belay biner reduces the weight by almost 25%. The large size can accommodate multiple knots whilst the clean nose prevents hang-ups.

Versatile screwgate Reviewed By Jonathan, 18 May 2013

After being recommended a Bug/Boa combo for belaying I proceeded to buy another two!

Nice to handle down to the shape and generous size.

The screwgate mechanism never gets stuck unlink some cheaper ones I've used.

It's perfect for abseiling off or belaying, as the shape helps the rope stay in place at the top.

The generous size makes it good for rigging up clove hitches to when anchoring at the top of a trad route.

I can't think of any reason not to have at least one!

Good yet not the best Reviewed By Christian, 23 Mar 2013

A great benefit of this karabiner is its generous size which provides great comfort when belaying. Light and rugged, I'd lie if I said I'm not very happy with it.
The only (minor) drawback, which made me go for 4 stars instead of 5, is an annoyance with the lock mechanism. In fact, the nut (when open) is very close to the gate and prevents the gate itself from opening or closing unless it is /fully/ unscrewed.
Rest assured, this minor drawback does not impair the use of the device itself, and I would still buy it again.

Solid Anchor Making Biner Reviewed By Tim, 05 Jan 2013

Been using this for about 6 months now, and it is perfect for setting up complicated anchors with a huge amount of space for numerous ropes, If you dont have one and you set your own anchors up, get one: makes it easy,
Plus can fit a huge number of slings on if you want to rack slings onto it.
