I've been climbing for a while but I needed some gear quick and cheap. For the first hour the harness was great, after that it started to pinch around the legs by the buckle. apart from that a great fit and good for beginners. I was happy with the set but will be sticking with my old harness or buying a new one. This one is going to be handed down to my father who is just starting up :)

This is a very comfortable harness , good support , easy to put on and remove and feels safe .
A good leading loop harness and gear loops
Great value for money , and you even get a Bug belay device , Carabineer , Chalk and Chalk Bag

I have just been bitten by the climbing bug and wanted to buy my own gear. I had a look at quite a few packages and this one seemed the best value. After using it for the first couple of times I'm really impressed! The harness is really comfy and light with ample adjustment offered and more importantly doesn't squash the crown jewels like the hired ones from my local wall! :-) the biner is very light and stays in place when under use. It's a bit of a squeeze getting chunky rope through the belay but once in its very smooth running but at the same time really grips the rope when needed. The chalk bag and chalk do what their supposed to do, no problems! Would definitely recommend!

i bought this about 7 months ago and it's still staying strong , the harness is comfy with many gear loops (5), the belay device is the DMM bug which is a cracking piece of kit and fits most size ropes including half ropes.The chalk bag is bog standard but for that price what do you expect .Apart from the chalk bag it's brilliant.
