Great indoor and outdoor shoe. Reviewed By Charlotte, 24 Mar 2013

Climbing in trainers was always a hindrance, I had never realised it until I had purchased the Elektra shoe.

At first the grip on the indoor holds wasn't fantastic, but I wouldn't blame the shoe for this, although it could be a factor many of holds on an indoor wall are smoothed out due to people climbing in trainers. As I started to climb the more difficult routes my shoes suddenly had more grip and I really started to benefit from them on the indoor wall.

After gaining more experience I moved outdoor, and I must say that these shoes are at the top of their game on the crag. Due to the fit of the boot I could fell every rock and was able to grip onto the tiniest of holds. My confidence on the wall/crag has most definitely improved since purchasing the Elektra shoe. The grip is truly amazing.

They are a lot comfier without socks!

These Rock!! Reviewed By Luke, 01 Jul 2012

Been climbing once at the local climbing centre with these and they were alot more comfortable bare foot than with sports socks, which is a bonus! Definitely alot better grip than my trainers that i started out in, but the rubber is not as sticky as my partners 5.10's. Hopefully the rubber gets softer with time and will give me a better grip when smearing. On a whole, a great first pair of shoes that are comfortable and brilliant that Cotswold price matched them in store to knock of £8.

Perfect Reviewed By Eve, 18 Mar 2012

As a compertant climber I love these shoes, they are really comfortable and the extra bit of padding on the heel is great-no more blisters! The Velcro straps means I'm not constantly re-tying them and getting laces caught. Nice sticky sole and made small foot holds south easier!!!

FAB! Reviewed By Elizabeth, 13 Oct 2011

Really comfortable as i'm a new climber but still small enough to be technical enough for Bouldering but i'm able to wear them all day when I'm outside. Pretty color, always helps!

A comfortable yet sensitive, eco-friendly shoe Reviewed By Menna, 22 Jul 2011

Being a relatively new climber - comfort was hugely important to me when buying my first pair of climbing shoes, but I also wanted something that wouldn't let me down on performance. After trying out a few, these shoes have turned out to offer exactly that. Very sticky and great sensitivity even in the toes where they feature their VTR technology (thicker in front toe, high wear area). And added bonus for me was the shoes eco-credentials.
Having now climbed a bit longer and harder grades, I still wouldn't object to buying these again.
