Terra Nova have improved the fit of the popular Windy Glove by adding a pre-curved finger design. This reduces bunching of the fabric and improve fit and grip on trekking poles and video cameras. With Gore Windstopper fabric that is 100% windproof and highly water repellent and an integral gauntlet. I bought a pair of these just before I went to the lakes earlier this month. I bought them because I knew I needed something that little bit better than normal without losing total flexibility of my hands like you can do with thick gloves. I went into cotswold outdoor thinking I would Buy a pair of north face Denali gloves which although offer much greater flexibility were surprisingly thin. These for the price range did an excellent job in keeping my hands warm whilst maintaining flexibility.
I wish to stress that these are not the perfect gloves but for fleece gloves they are extremely warm and comfortable also I would like to point out that the wind stopper membrane in these did an excellent job when i was in the lakes despite the gloves getting soaked the wind didn't rip straight through them. Good Job Extremities good job they kept me protected in all the elements could through at us snow hail and rain on high sty in the last weekend of half term good job. really impressed.
