I know these shoes look a bit weird, but they are fantastic and have transformed my running. Up until buying these shoes which made me adjust my running style I was suffering from chronic shin splints. By using these shoes and adjusting my running style to suit the shoes (see their website for all their info) I have now been running a lot easier and quicker. These may not be for everyone, but I love them and it has been the best purchase I have made for a while.

They take ages to get on !! Once i managed to wrestle my toes into these (after about 10 minutes) they fitted like a dream and were comfortable from the outset. They are really breathable (because they are mostly mesh) and seriously lightweight - i carry them on the back of my climbing harness... great bit of kit, funky,practical and comfortable but very tricky to get toes in the right place for a bit (there is a secret technique)
