This gift card is an excellent idea which allows you to register credit on your Garmin account. Giving you 600km of map area to purchase, you are able to download the exact area you require on your GPS from 1km to 600km without having to purchase an expensive card. As a walker myself it allows me to tailor my GPS for the circular walks I do. It is very easy to use and only requires you to enter a code on your Garmin account, which then gives you instant credit ready for use. You're able to purchase maps in 1:25k or 1:50k scale. The credit does expire after a while so you need to make sure you use it all and you will need to download Garmin's Basecamp program to use the card.
