Footloose? Feet lost, more like...
Reviewed By William, 16 Mar 2014

I purchased two of these stools for use whilst camping in the UK. Although on first use they appeared comfortable and good value, the feet on both stools broke off within minutes. Two sank into the soft ground and were lost irretrievably, while another fractured and washence rendered useless.

All in all, these should be regarded as a disposable commodity, which is disappointing, but they are barely fit for purpose. Hopefully, the bin men can find a use for them...

Enough space to sit on, but the little black feet came off immediately resulting in some tumbles due to the metal legs moving into the ground. It's definitely a design fault. Now only useable on firm ground.

Functionally good and better than sitting on the ground or squatting. Dissapointed that when i got it home one screw was loose and had stripped out. At £6 it wasnt worth a round trip back to the shop so a bit of DIY has hopefully fixed it

Useful compact stool
Reviewed By Alex, 05 Sep 2012

For the price I am pleased that it is a robust stool that can be attached to my rucksack without adding a lot of extra weight that a regular camping chair would have.
It is tall enough to feel reasonably comfortable when sitting on it although it is slightly unstable on uneven ground.
Overall, I think it is useful for longer walks on wet days but it isn't really necessary on shorter walks.
