Safe, stable, simple & lightweight stove Reviewed By David, 18 Sep 2012

This excellent stove is well-designed to provide maximum stability, safety and ease of use. The wide hob allows the use of larger cooking pots, such as mess tins and frying pans, while the wide stable base prevents any possibility of tipping (and therefore the spilling of liquids or food being cooked).

Further safety features include the durable braided fuel line which separates fuel canister from the stove and therefore greatly reduces the risk of canister leak ignition issues. The Piezo auto-start ignitor further ensures that gas is immediately lit (preventing loss of valuable gas and providing further improved safety from gas leakage) and removes the need for carrying matches, a lighter or a strike-light.

This stove packs down to a very small and convenient size (about the size of a tennis ball), is highly durable (mine is still in perfect condition after over a year of regular use) and is good value for money – especially in comparison to similar stoves.

Finally, its design was highly praised by my Mountain Leader Instructors, and it was said that - due to its multiple safety features - this would be the ideal stove for kitting out groups of younger campers such as school groups, scouts and Duke of Edinburgh aspirants.

great lightweight stove with excellent pack size Reviewed By Holly, 10 Apr 2012

this stove has been an amazing piece of my kit for many expeditions, with a brillant price tag for such a cracking piece of kit.1 would recommend it to any one who wants a excellent, reliable stove for their rucksack. With the igntor there is no need for matches as it is all in one. Also with the wide spread of the stand it will alway be completely steady on any surfce. This is a great bit of kit that will always be in my rucksack.
