A fully featured heavy weight stretch hybrid all-mountain pant in a regular cut. Made from an extremely durable canvas constructed fabric with excellent abrasion and tear resistance with a cotton-like touch. Great wind resistance with a PFOS/PFOA and FLUOROCARBON free DWR treated surface that also enhances drying time.

Bought these for an expedition to Norway in the summer but before then I wear them for DofE, working, casual and other outdoor activities.
The knee and bottom patches are very useful being stretchy, the number of times I've knelt or on wet surfaces and was surprised how little water actually came through them.
The kick patches, lace hooks and ankle ties all work well with my B2 boots stopping all the dirt and water going into the trousers (similar to gaiters).
The DWR treated fabric made any water landing on the trousers just roll off. I was surprised after the second or third wash this treated surface became less effective but this does not take away from the fact they are such a great pair of trousers.
It has several pockets that are all easily accessible and useful.
Don't let the hefty price put you off because they are worth every penny! Overall I think these are the best trousers I own (and I own a lot of trousers)

Have worn the Terra Pant & decent pair of North Face & never really found what I was looking for - these are the daddy & will survive the apocalypse. super comfy & rugged as hell & have a great cut to them.

I've been looking for a replacement for my good old Mountain Hardwear rugged, pant till now. I wear them for work as well as hill/mountain activities. My Bracken pair are good for camouflage activities too. Shame I can't find the black in short leg in-stock anywhere though! Best outdoor activity clothing I have bought for years, and I buy plenty ........ !
