These versatile and lightweight approach shoes have a down-to-the-toe lacing system - like that found on technical rock boots - for an encompassing fit, giving a surefooted feel for hikes, scrambling and easy climbing.

The climbing shoe inspired styling continues with sticky rubber soles for excellent traction and protective rubber over the toe and heel, with a star-shaped upper giving great flexibility. A waterproof/breathable Gore-Tex membrane delivers all weather protection and the SOLE footbeds are oven-mouldable to your feet, with a Polygiene top sheet to help prevent odours.

Great comfort Reviewed By John, 09 Mar 2013

Read the reviews, but still sceptical . Took the plunge, as Cotswolds has never sold me anything duff. Never believed a shoes could be so comfortable. Takes time for the footbed to mould to foot, but when sorted most comfortable shoe ever. Shame not in shop, had to buy on net.

Good Solid walking shoes Reviewed By anthony, 21 Feb 2013

Have bought the shoes for an upcoming trip to the Isle of Arran where lots of hikes are planned. So far, shoes seem very well made and comfortable. Bought these on the strength of all the reviews, but so far so good :)

Awesome Walking Shoe Reviewed By Phill, 14 Nov 2012

Love these shoes! Have used them for walking in France and in the UK and are really supportive and comfortable. Didn't have to mould the sole as it has good instep control as standard. Also good as a casual shoe with jeans or combats. Buying these prompted me to see what else Haglof do, the quality is that good.

The best!!! Reviewed By Joe N F, 23 Oct 2012

Probably the best shoes I have ever bought.
I have had many other brands in the past but these are far superior regarding comfort and durability.
Many thanks Haglofs!

Fantastic shoe! Reviewed By Owain, 13 Jun 2012

I've owned these shoes now for 2 years, and worn then nearly everyday. They are well built and with exception of the sole (which is near worn smooth) look as if they are out of the box.
They can cope with heavy rain, snow, bogs, anything and everything I've thrown at then (which is nearly everything!)
I have never had a better pair of shoes and I will diffidently be buying another pair.

Perfect out of the box Reviewed By Lukasz, 28 May 2012

Just bought them in the shop, went out put them on and went for a 2,5 hour walk around the town.. Perfect fit, no blisters, no pain, the weather outside is really warm today, but my feet are dry.
Although they have a goretex lining you wont get the chilly filling in this kind of weather and that's the only thing I don't like about them.
Need to check them out in a typical Scottish weather and see how they are doing but I'm convinced that everything's gonna be just fine.
Summing up: perfect fit out of the box, grate sole, breathable - would buy a pair again and would recommend to anyone.

Excellent supportive comfortable shoe. Reviewed By , 23 Jun 2011

I tried these shoes in the shop and was amazed how firm and supportive these approach shoes are. It was not till I got them home that I learned that they have a mouldable foot bed. This makes the fit like a glove from the off. These shoes are much firmer than many approach shoes making them ideal for really rough and rocky terrain in the summer. The shoes also look good with jeans after too. I have worn these mostly round town and so far the soles are lasting extremely well I have been so impressed with these that I am buying a second pair for when these wear out. buy these you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic Reviewed By Richard, 23 May 2011

I bought these shoes after several weeks of research into the the best approach shoe. I think my choice was the right one. The shoe feels solid underneath and the support is excellent. I would recommend these over most approach shoes as they are functionally excellent and look just as good with a pair of jeans in pub.

EXCELLENT ALL ROUND WALKING SHOES Reviewed By John Henry, 27 Mar 2011

This is the first pair of Haglofs I have purchased and, from the special insoles that mould to your own feet to the quality of the construction and materials used, these shoes are very good value for money.
