The Tight is a classic, simply laid out daypack from Haglöfs suitable for a wide range of activities.

Due to its teardrop shape, the Tight concentrates its load towards the base. This low centre of gravity combines with the contoured shoulder straps to make a snug, stable pack which stays in place and doesn't restrict movement.

The Tight can be stripped of its waistbelt and ice axe attachments, leaving a simple, uncluttered bag ideal for commuting or travel.

I bought this rucksack initially for uni as I often have to cart around a lot of books. However since having it I've used it for almost everything, it's great for hiking as the load sits real low helping balance and during a few Urbexing adventures in tunnels and mines it's fared very well being dragged over rocks. Also having used it in the rain it really does seem quite water resistant.

I recently bought this rucksack from the Cotswold store. It was the first rucksack I saw as I walked through the door (it was in the reduced section...which helped as I was looking for something affordable). The colour is attractive and unusual, the other choices seemed to be mainly black or blue..I wanted something different. I picked it up, wow incredibly light weight and a carry handle on the top, brilliant! A huge concealed zip pocket on the front, a big zip pocket inside and some Velcro straps inside to help divide stuff. I needed a rucksack to take on a budget airline with luggage size restrictions, this rucksack was ideal because it had those adjusting straps on the outside which means you can cram a lot inside and then reduce the size by half by pulling on these straps (plus peace of mind that if the big zip failed everything would still be contained by these straps). It fits well on the back with a long waist strap and best of all (this is an incredible feature I've not seen on another rucksack..) the strap which goes across the chest slides up and down, so can be worn where-ever is most comfortable on your chest, so this rucksack is great for men AND women. I continued to look at other rucksacks in the shop but kept coming back to this one. So decided it had to be mine! Since then I've travelled abroad with it and am completely satisfied with it's performance. Such a brilliant, versatile rucksack. I am so pleased with it! I've never found choosing a rucksack to buy so easy.
