For long days out or overnights in hostels, the Vapour is a daypack which handles heavier loads with ease.

If you're overnighting in a hostel, you don't require as much kit as you do for a night under canvas. You nevertheless need a bag which will carry more than just a map, flask and a waterproof jacket! The Vapour's 32 litre capacity and supportive hip belt make for a great all rounder: carry as much as you need for weekends away or cinch in the compression straps to keep everything stable if you're only taking the essentials for a day hike.

Front panel lashing points, a lid mounted bungee system, compression straps and ice axe and walking pole loops add up to an impressive array of attachment options. Before considering which of these best suits you needs though, the lid pocket and spacious front pocket take care of most of your extra bits.

Bought this rucksack from Grasmere a few weeks ago after suffering some back and shoulder pain, found this bag to be the most comfortable bag with its air through back design and padded waist straps. It has adjustable straps to fit your back and waist perfectly. This is a genuine review and I am absolutely delighted with my new rucksack.

This the best day/weekend sack I have ever owned! As someone who is out hiking everyday the consecution is first rate the Airbac system and the vented hip belt is affective but simple; I was out in temperatures above 80c and it was the most efficient and affective I have owed in 40 years.

My old Karrimor rucksack has seen better days and I bought this last March in Grasmere. It does everything I want of it and more besides. All the pockets are well-designed and accessible, and there are straps everywhere for attaching all things. It's comfortable, and the breathing system on the back is excellent. Can't find any faults so far, and at the price, it was unbeatable.
