Being in my senior years I have tried quite a few socks in my time....but nothing so far has been as comfortable and warm as the Icebreaker Mid. Walking in the Carneddau range in thick snow and freezing conditions with warm and comfortable feet is certainly a bonus. I am certainly a fan of Merino wool.

This sock was great when I took a few pair with me to Norway. They are extremely warm and do not get smelly after a full day in hiking boots. They are also well cusioned in the sole.

These socks offer fantastic comfort, warmth, cushioning and remain bone dry inside and out after a full day’s walking…….and still smell brand new! I initially bought two pairs of these socks a few weeks ago and have been very impressed with their quality. I have since bought a pair of their light and heavy cushioned socks to compliment this mid cushion pair and have the same positive comments to make about those too. I will certainly buy more in the future and would without hesitation recommend them to anyone who is considering buying a pair. Another great product sold by Cotswold.
