This really works Reviewed By Carol, 28 Oct 2011

I have had one of these for about 18 months. I have used it in all weathers and it has never let me down. I stay warm/ comfortable - never cold or too hot. If I am working hard, it just shifts sweat away without you noticing. When I have got wet I don't get cold - it just works really well as a base layer. It washes easily and dry's quite quickly. But unlike 'plastic' garments, you can wear it for days and its doesn't get wiffy - a great bonus on a multi day trip. I wont go back to 'plastic' wool all the way!

great comfy just don't get it wet Reviewed By Ian, 09 Oct 2011

I have been a convert to whool for a year or so warm and comfy and doesn't smell bad .
However I have a similar ice breaker merino whool shirt to this and got caut out this weekend in the rain on dartmoor, it didn't wick the sweat away like a helly would and i ended up wet and cold despite a top of the range event jacket .
Luckily i had a spare old helly lifa in my kit wiich I changed into and I finished the day dry . Just see how long they take to dry when you wash them . Its not the wonder material its getting cracked up to be if you are working hard in wet conditions .
